Hon’ble Prime Minister inaugurates 100 ‘5G Use Case Labs’: SMIT, only one from Sikkim.
The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 100 ‘5G Use Case Labs’ across the country during the 7th Edition of the ‘India Mobile Congress 2023 (IMC 2023)’ on 27th October 2023 from Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Hon’ble Prime Minister envisioned India to be the ‘Thought Leaders’ in the digital and telecom transformation. He also stressed on the involvement and contributions of academic institutions and young students in building the digital and telecom technologies through such initiatives of ‘5G Use Case Labs’.
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) is one of the 100 proud recipient of this prestigious National Labs and only one from Sikkim. SMIT is committed to take strides to in realizing this noble vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
