EVENT SUMMARY:

The Student Induction Program 2024 closing ceremony was a memorable and vibrant event, marking the culmination of an exciting introduction to campus life for all the freshers. The evening commenced with an inspiring speech by the Director, SMIT, Cdr (Dr) G L Sharma, who welcomed the new students and encouraged them to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them at the institution.

Following the Director’s address, the stage came alive with a series of remarkable performances by the talented freshers. The audience was treated to an array of dance routines, melodious musical numbers, and impressive instrumental performances, showcasing the diverse talents of the new students.

In addition to the individual performances, various student clubs made their presence felt with captivating acts. Udaan and Nirvana, presented a performance that left the audience in awe. Illusion, the dance club, dazzled everyone with their energetic and well-choreographed dance numbers, while Chromatix, the music club, delivered soulful and foot-tapping musical performances.

The closing ceremony not only highlighted the remarkable talents of the freshers but also provided a glimpse into the vibrant and supportive community they are now a part of. It was a fitting end to a week filled with orientation activities, setting the tone for an exciting and enriching academic journey ahead.
