EVENT SUMMARY:

The Bohagi-Vaisakh celebration at C-Quad on 13th April 2024 was a vibrant and culturally rich event, showcasing the diversity and unity of the SMIT community. The event commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by the Emcee, setting the stage for an evening of festivities.

The highlight of the celebration was the bonfire. The crackling flames and the warm glow of the fire created a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the attendees.

Following the bonfire, the Director of SMIT delivered a brief yet inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of cultural harmony and appreciation.

The cultural performances began with a soulful poem recitation captivating the audience with its heartfelt verses. This was followed by a mesmerizing Nepali dance, showcasing the grace and beauty of Nepali culture.

Next, a lively Bengali dance performance added a burst of energy to the event, with its vibrant movements and traditional music. The audience was then treated to a session of Shayari where poetic verses in various languages were recited, evoking emotions and applause from the crowd.

The cultural extravaganza continued with a spirited Punjabi dance at, showcasing the energetic and joyful spirit of Punjabi culture. This was followed by a captivating Bodo performance, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the Bodo community.

The event reached its crescendo with a mesmerizing performance by Chromatix , mesmerizing the audience with their musical talents and stage presence. The evening concluded with a lively Bihu dance, bringing everyone together in a celebration of unity and diversity.

Overall, the Bohagi-Vaisakh celebration at C-Quad was a resounding success, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a celebration of culture, unity, and harmony.
