INTRODUCTION:

The objective of the club is to start mathematical activities so that the students can apply the diversities of the subject in daily life. Seldom activities are mentioned below:

•  Puzzles
• Seminars
• Group Challenge
• Mathematical modeling
• Summer/winter camp
• Higher level Engineering applications

As a part of the club activity, Young Mathematical Technology Scholars (YMTS) is going to organize one day Puzzle challenge entitled “Switch on Your Smartness” on 9^th June, 2023 (Tuesday), for all SMIT students.

• There are three jugs A, B, C, with capacities 8,5,3 quarts, respectively. The jug A is filled with wine, and we wish to divide the wine into two equal parts by pouring it from one container to another - that is, without using any measuring devices other than these jugs.
