DESCRIPTION

The 101 series Hackathon Training Session was hosted by the Innovision Council’24 on the 6th of February,2024. This event was aimed at providing the members with in depth knowledge about a hackathon and help them get well equipped with the skills required with the perspective of a hackathon. Fun engaging ice breaker sessions and games were arranged to break the monotonicity of the explanatory part of the session. The students were provided with a brief overview of what, why, how of a hackathon, a brief overview of the themes of a hackathon with an idea of types of problem statements was also provided. The students were then familiarized with the structure and format of the hackathon. Typing competitions, mini coding challenges, Elevator Pitch Challenge etc, were some games included.
