CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Prof (Dr) Chandrashekhar Bhuiyan  is the Professor and Head in the Department of Civil Engineering & Associate Director (Research) at SMIT.

     

    He has

     

    • Plus 26 years research experience (1998-2024) at leading research institutes of India and abroad.
    • Hands-on Experience in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, SAR Interferometry, Geostatistics, Trench Survey and Mapping, and Geophysical Techniques (Resistivity and Ground Penetrating Radar).
    • Reviewer of International Journals: Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, International Journal of Remote Sensing, International Journal of Meteorology, Natural Hazards, Journal of Earth System Science, Hydrological Processes, Geomatics Natural Hazards and Risk etc.
    • Author of 39 articles published in journals and conference proceedings, and one International Book Chapter.
