CRH OVERVIEW

  • The foundation stone of CRH was laid down by his Excellency Shri R. Venkataraman, the then President of India on 22nd August 1991 and was inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Chamling the Honorable Chief Minister of Sikkim on 4th March 1997. This has initiated a long journey to set new standards in the field of health care in this North-Eastern part of the country.
  • It has the best amalgamation of a highly talented medical specialist, state of the art equipment, well-trained paramedical staff and other support services under a single roof. It is a nine-storied structure with a floor space of more than 3,00,000 sq. ft and houses 500 beds.
  • CRH has fulfilling the vision of providing contemporary world-class healthcare facilities to the people of Sikkim right at their doorsteps.

WORLD HAND HYGIENE DAY 2024

The Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC), CRH observed World Hand Hygiene Day on 4th May 2024 at level 3, CRH. WHO has declared 5th May as World Hand Hygiene Day and the slogan for this year is “Why is sharing knowledge about hand hygiene still so important? because it helps stop the spread of harmful germs in healthcare.”

Two days BASIC FOR NURSES ON WARDS critical care course for Nurses of CRH was conducted on 1st and 2nd February 2024, in level 6 skill Lab SMIMS building. There were series of lectures and hands on skill stations for two days.
