  • Last Date of Application: MPT application for the year 2024-2025 has been closed
  • Counselling for MPT batch 2024 was preponed and conducted on 28th June 2024
  • Course Commencement date: 1st August 2024

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Must have passed Bachelor of Physiotherapy examination from full time, in-campus BPT course program from an Institution/university duly recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
  • General candidates: Should have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from recognized University.
  • SC/ST/OBC: Should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from recognized University.
  • Candidates who are presently doing their BPT internship are also eligible to apply, but their admission to the course program is subject to their internship completion on or

OVERVIEW

The objectives of this post graduate program are:

  • To incorporate evidence based and ethical practice in all the areas of physiotherapy care, especially within the area of specialty.
  •  To acquire skills required to be an effective theoretical & clinical teacher in Physiotherapy.
  •  To be proficient in research methods and apply these in the pursuance of research in Physiotherapy.
  •  To learn elements of administration in order to be an effective Physiotherapy administrator.
  •  To ensure competency for professional autonomy.
