OVERVIEW

The Central Library, SMIMS plays a vital role in furthering the academic mission of SMIMS and facilitates creation and dissemination of knowledge.

The range of services offered by the library is comparable to the best of libraries.

Besides holding an excellent print collection of over 13000 volumes of books and 116 Indian & foreign journals, it also provides access to electronic books in medical sciences, nursing, and hospital management & physiotherapy.

The library offers its services to students, medical professionals, faculty members and staff to 1470 members from SMIMS.

SMIMS Library has a remarkable collection of digital documents both in physical and virtual forms and an organised Digital Library providing effective information support to the users. The library has made a significant progress during 2013-14.
