DEPARTMENT OF RADIO-DIAGNOSIS & IMAGING:

 

Modern imaging methods in Radio-diagnosis can open a window in the human body, as it were, and supplement the clinical expertise in diagnosing the presence and extent of disease and other ailments. The department of Radio-diagnosis at CRH plays a vital role in a tertiary referral centre as it caters to the needs of several departments including the surgical and medical departments.

 

The department of Radio-diagnosis at Central Referral Hospital provides 24 x7 service with a dedicated team of health care professionals including Trained Radiologist, Technicians and other paramedical & supporting staff. The department is well equipped to provide the full range of diagnostic imaging services including Computerized Radiography, Ultrasonography (USG) & Colour Doppler, Multi slice Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography and Interventional radiology.

The Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC), CRH observed World Hand Hygiene Day on 4th May 2024 at level 3, CRH. WHO has declared 5th May as World Hand Hygiene Day and the slogan for this year is “Why is sharing knowledge about hand hygiene still so important? because it helps stop the spread of harmful germs in healthcare.”
