The Department of Paediatrics is a specialised field catering to medical needs of all children, from birth to adolescence. It provides state-of-art primary and specialty care for children. The department of Paediatrics conducts various special clinics:

The Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC), CRH observed World Hand Hygiene Day on 4th May 2024 at level 3, CRH. WHO has declared 5th May as World Hand Hygiene Day and the slogan for this year is “Why is sharing knowledge about hand hygiene still so important? because it helps stop the spread of harmful germs in healthcare.”
Two days BASIC FOR NURSES ON WARDS critical care course for Nurses of CRH was conducted on 1st and 2nd February 2024, in level 6 skill Lab SMIMS building. There were series of lectures and hands on skill stations for two days.
One-day free medical camp was conducted by Central Referral Hospital on 30th Sept at Community Health Centre, Jorethang, South Sikkim.

The Hospital Infection Control Committee, CRH observed World Hand Hygiene Day on 5th May 2023.
All participating CRH doctors were felicitated by the organising committee and thanked CRH for their outstanding contribution to the people of Timi Bazaar.
A total of 83 patients were screened at the camp along with distribution of free medicines. Blood sugar, ECG and BP was also conducted.
Four days training on AHA Certified BLS & ACLS Course for doctors & nurses of Central Referral Hospital was conducted from 23rd April to 26th April, 2023 in level 6 Skill lab SMIMS building.
