A special lecture on Regional Investor Seminar for Awareness (RISA) has been organized on 15.03.2024 at Lecture Hall II, Level V, SMIMS Building of Sikkim Manipal University. It was a highly enriching and insightful event organized by the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences & Liberal Arts (FHSSLA), SMU.
The objective of the lecture was to address the issues on the following themes:
The event featured the esteemed speakers, Shri Mr Aniruddha Patil, Manager SEBI and Mr. Pratyush Sengupta, BSE Investor Protection Fund. They brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the lecture, making it a valuable opportunity for the attendees to learn.
The event witnessed a robust turnout of around 100 participants from the University, Faculties and students from FHSSLA, Govt. Degree college Tadong & Burtok. The diverse audience contributed to a vibrant atmosphere, fostering engagement and interactive discussions. Dr. Madan Chhetri, Coordinator, FHSSLA, SMU anchored the whole session, followed by a brief welcome address by the Covenor of FHSSLA Mrs. Srijana Sharma.
