Overview

The Central Referral Hospital (CRH), Tadong, is a 500 bed Tertiary care Hospital. It is a nine storeyed building with a floor space of more than 3, 00,000 sq. ft. The hospital has 22 specialties, 12 operation theatres and all state of art equipments.

 

Central Referral Hospital (CRH) was inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister, Dr. Pawan Chamling on 4th March’1997. This has initiated a long journey to set new standards in the field of health care in this North Eastern part of the country. Health care delivery is in a fine balance due to the increasing expectations of the customer and the cost of continuous technological advances in the field of medicine.

CRH has state of the art facility like MRI , CT 64 slice, 1000 MA digital X-Ray,  Cath-lab, Special OT’s for Cardiothoracic & Neuro Surgery.

 

Patients now want to be more actively involved in the decision making process concerning their care and treatment. CRH aims to deliver high quality medical care to meet these requirements. It has been established as "hospital with a difference" to provide comprehensive health care under one roof. The focus is not only on secondary and tertiary care but give equal emphasis for primary care, preventive care and community medicine.

 

 

There are 22 Specialties providing a 24 hours specialist service, which has given the impetus to establish it as a referral center. Paramount importance is given to educational components by conducting CMEs, Medical Conferences, out reach programs, medical camps, school health programs etc.
