OVERVIEW

  • MSc Medical Biotechnology program at SMIMS SMU is a 2-year program that offers specialisation in the field of biotechnology. The program offers understanding of medical science at a molecular level and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases due to genetic manipulation.
  • The objective of the program is to train students in medical biotechnology in a way that they can act as resource persons, perform research in the heath sector, and develop the skills and attitude for critical evaluation of the problems of medical sciences.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Admission to Int. MSc. Medical Biotechnology course , a candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry , Biology/Biotechnology  individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB for General Caste & 45 %  for candidates belonging to SC,ST & OBC.
