BRIEF DESCRIPTION/REPORT
Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) organized a 3-day workshop on High Impact Online Content Creation Skills from May 13 to May 15, 2024. The workshop aimed to equip participants with advanced techniques and strategies for creating engaging and effective online content. Held at conference hall, CDOE.
Day 1:
- Director, CDOE, SMU, Prof (Dr) Sourav Dhar, welcomes the resource persons by offering traditional ceremonial scarf (khada).
- The workshop commenced with a warm welcome from the event coordinator, followed by an overview of the workshop objectives and schedule.
- First session led by Ms. Vishaka Seksaria, focused on the generating source content to the final output with brief on the folder structure and functionalities.
- Afternoon session was based on the different activities and discussion.
- Third session also led by the Ms. Vishaka Seksaria, she speaks on instructional design, importance and usage of different tools, techniques, and video production elements followed by discussion and activity (Pictionary).
Day 2:
- Fourth session was conducted by Mr. Ajay Kaul and Mr. Rushank Girish, they gave a demonstration of interactive session with demo videos and sample pf recorded videos, Followed by discussion and activity (Script Writing).
- Fifth session was on details of shoot, the requirements and the do’s and don’ts while shooting. Followed by discussion and activity (Create your own dialogue – Muted movie clips).
Day 3:
- Sixth session conducted by Ms. Vishaka Seksaria on creating sources PPTs with seamless flow ensuring that the content is tailored for storyboarding and postproduction, Followed by discussion and activity.
- Director, CDOE, SMU, Prof (Dr) Sourav Dhar facilitated all the participant with the participation certificate.
- Event coordinators proposes a vote of thanks.
