FHSSLA Celebrates Euphoria 2024

The Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts (FHSSLA), Sikkim Manipal University celebrated Euphoria 2024 from May 29, 2024, to June 1, 2024. Euphoria is an annual fest of FHSSLA that combines sports and cultural activities. The opening ceremony was held on May 28, 2024, at the Auditorium, Level VI, SMIMS building.

In his speech during the opening ceremony, the Honourable Vice Chancellor Air Vice Marshal (Dr) Dilip Chandra Agarwal, VSM, emphasized the importance of fostering a sense of healthy competition and willingness among the students to bring out their best. He declared Euphoria 2024 open and encouraged students to participate with maximum enthusiasm.

The first three days of Euphoria included various sports competitions such volleyball, futsal, basketball, badminton, tug-of-war, and e-sports. Students also set up stalls selling food and handmade artistic products. The last day of Euphoria featured a cultural event with activities such as dance and signing competitions, drama and instrumental performance.  The four-day fest concluded with a closing ceremony on the afternoon of June 1, 2024, which included a prize distribution ceremony.

The opening and closing ceremonies were attended by the Honourable Vice Chancellor of SMU, Registrar of SMU, Dean of SMIMS, Controller of Examinations of SMU, along with faculty members and students of FHSSLA.
