The effect of time delay during wide area measurement systems (WAMS) and actuator saturation is also considered. A Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is used to design a state feedback control law based on linear matrix inequality (LMI). Simulation study on a four-machine 11-bus power system and New England 39-bus power system validates the performance of the designed controller.
