The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering exists since the inception of the institute (1997). The Department is enriched with the state-of-the-art laboratories with highly experienced and qualified Faculty Members and Staff. The Department also boosts of high impact and latest research activities in the areas of Semiconductors, VLSI, 5G Communication, Nanotechnology, IoT, Embedded System, Signal Processing, RADAR, Satellite Communication etc. Sponsored projects from DRDO, DST, AICTE and ISRO.

VISION

To achieve eminence in the field of quality technological education and research in Semiconductor and Nanotechnology, 5G Communication and beyond, VLSI & Embedded System, Smart Antenna System and other related fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering leading to, in becoming a Centre-of-Excellence.

MISSION

To create a dynamic learning environment, provide quality education, enhance employability, develop professional etiquette, and create technologically competent human resources. Adopt best teaching practices and foster collaborations to provide adequate exposure to state-of-the-art technologies viz.
