"Chandrayaan Utsav", was successful organized by Artisti, the art club at Sikkim Manipal Institute Of Technology from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event was a sketch fest under the banner "Chandra Anveshana", celebrating the marvels of moon exploration through creativity and imagination.
The event featured a wide variety of artistic styles and mediums, showcasing the diverse talents and creativity of participating artists. The theme of the event was "Landing Of Chandrayaan-3". The students created mesmerizing artworks which set a perfect example to visualize and interpret a theme in diverse and unique ways. This event indeed proved how individual perspectives and creativity can bring forth a rich variety of interpretations for a given theme.
The event objectives were:
- Promoting scientific awareness: This event aimed to raise awareness about India's space exploration efforts and inspired the students to take an interest in science and technology.
- Showcasing talent: This event helped students to showcase their artistic talents and express their creativity and interpret the theme of Landing Of Chandrayaan-3 through various forms of art including painting, sketching, etc.
- Engaging the community: This event fostered a sense of community by involving the students in celebrating India's space achievements.
The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of our esteemed faculty member Dr. Sanat Kumar Das and Student Coordinators Sampreet Dey, Anikinee Deb, Rajdeep Das, Arpana Sinha, Amrit Ruten Mohapatra, Priyanjana Paul and Peela Sharandeep.
