The department works in collaboration with other clinical and para clinical specialities like the Departments of ENT and Surgery. It serves the needs of medically compromised patients and in patients of other departments who need Orofacial consultation.

  • Prosthodontist- specialist pertaining to rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients  (clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes in the form of doing crown & bridge, complete dentures, Removable partial dentures, Maxillofacial Prosthesis & Implants).
  • Periodontist - Expert in the treatment of gingiva, Periodontal diseases (Surgical procedures include contouring of your teeth or gums, and work that regenerates your teeth's supporting bones and non-surgical procedures are scaling and root planning)
  • Oral Surgeon- Expert in treating pathological conditions (e.g.-cyst and tumor, precancerous lesion etc.)  injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and Cranio-maxillofacial (jaws and face) region.
  • General dentist who are capable of doing primary dental care for patients of all ages and care for overall oral health.
