This 2-day program had several eminent speakers from the field of Public health, renowned health professionals from Oncology, Gynecology and Community Medicine.

 

SMCPT students and faculty presented 8 posters and 2 papers in varied topics out of which:

 

  1. Ms. Shivani Agarwal, MPT final year student won the best poster presentation on the topic “Study of Musculoskeletal Evaluation of Cervical Spine Among Migraine Patient in Tertiary Care Hospital, Sikkim: A Cross-Sectional study under the guidance of : Prof. Nikita Joshi Sonowal, Co-guide: Dr Parvati Nandy, Dr Frieda Bokali
  2. Ms. Prasanna Chettri, MPT final year student won the best paper presentation for the topic “A Randomized Controlled Trial on the Effectiveness of Group Recreational Activity in Chronic Pain and Functional Ability in Individuals with Adhesive Capsulitis” under guidance of Dr. Ajoy Daniel Rai and Co-guide: Dr. Quemeen Gurung.
