- Co Investigator in Project Titled Fish Trematode infection in the North East under Indian Council of Medical Research.
- Principal Investigator in three Indian Council of Medical Research Projects:
- Population based Cancer Registry for Sikkim.
- Role of tobacco in the occurrence of Cancer in the North East
- Role of Pesticide in the occurrence of Cancer in the North East.
- Selected as WHO fellow and undertook one Months training Course for Pathologists Conducted at the Institute Of Pathology, New Delhi. (2001).
- Awarded the Calum Muir Fellowship by the International Association of Cancer Registries and attended the Thames cancer Registry summer course in Cancer Registration from 22May to 16th June 2007 at Thames Cancer Registry, London.
- Selected to attend Course on Cancer Registration and course on Introduction to Cancer Epidemiology held in Lyon , France from 2-20 June ,2008 organised by International Agency for Research on Cancer, WHO.
- Selected to present paper titled “ Ethnic variation in the Occurrence of Cancer of Stomach ,Esophagus and Liver in Sikkim - a North East State of India” at the 31st Annual Scientific Congress and meeting of the International Association of Cancer Registries held in New Orleans ,Lousiana, USA 3-5th June 2009.
- Selected to present a Poster titled “Improvement in Cancer Mortality Abstraction in Low Resourse setting “ at the 32nd Annual Scientific Congress and meeting of Internatiaonal Association of Cancer registries held in Yokohama , Japan from 12th October to 14th October, 2010.
- Selected to present a E.poster at the 2014 World Cancer Congress from 3rd to 6the December 2014 “Ethnicity as a risk in the first 10 year population study in Sikkim – A northeastern state of India” in Melbourne, Australia.
- Co – Investigator in project Randomized trail of 2 versus 3 dose of HPV vaccination under International Agency of Research on Cancer (WHO).
