Swachhata Hi Seva Programme at MG Marg
NSS, SMU, in collaboration with the Drama Club, FHSSLA staged a Nukkad Natak (Street Play) on the theme “Swachhata and Sanitation” at MG Marg on 2nd of October 2024 to mark the closing of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign observed from 17th of September to 2nd of October 2024. The Nukkad Natak was enacted to create awareness about Cleanliness, Hygiene and Sanitation among the people. NSS Volunteers and members of the Drama Club, Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts took part in the event. The play revolved around the slogan Swachh Bharat Swachh Sikkim. Dr Madan Chhetri, Programme Coordinator, NSS, SMU; Mr. Uttam Kumar Upadhyaya, Programme Officer, NSS, SMU and Ms. Priyanka Sharma, Coordinator, Drama club coordinated the event. A huge response from the crowd could be witnessed for the programme.
