SMFHSSLA celebrates Winterlude: An Annual Literary and Cultural Fest
The Department of English, Sikkim Manipal Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts (SMFHSSLA) celebrated Winterlude: An Annual Literary and Cultural Fest on 19th December 2023. The fest started with a welcome address by Mrs. Srijana Sharma, Convenor, FHSSLA. The fest comprised of performances such as self-composed poetry recitation, storytelling, cultural dance, self-composed songs, etc. The major attraction of the fest was a drama titled “Run-through Husband” staged by the students of the Department of English, as a part of the paper “Play Performance” included in BA English 3rd Semester curriculum. The event concluded with certificate distribution and a vote of thanks delivered by Prayash Gupta, Assistant Professor, FHSSLA. A total of 59 students participated in the event.
