Mr. Sital Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department AI and DS at SMIT. He holds M.Tech degree in Computer Science (2021) from AP Goyal Shima University, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and His primary research interest is in the field of Natural Language processing, Natural Language Understanding and Large Language Models. Presently he is working on developing techniques for preserving and digitizing low resources Himalayan Languages for NLP. Apart from teaching and research, he is actively involved in various activities like Mini and Major project coordinator, Project based learning coordinator etc. He has been actively involved in various funded projects amounting to a total sum of 39 Lakhs.
