The seminar on Energy Efficiency and Conservation, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in collaboration with the State Designated Agency, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, and Cenergist Energy Private Limited, was a resounding success. Attended by students and faculty members from both the Electrical and Electronics Department and Mechanical Department, the seminar highlighted the significance of energy conservation and the implications of the Energy Conservation Act of India 2001. Mr. Pemba Lepcha, Chief Engineer cum Nodal Officer of the State Designated Agency, graced the event with his presence. As a result of the seminar, an Energy Club was established within the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, paving the way for future endeavors in energy conservation.
