On 9-03-2024 the robotic Line follower competition was conducted at SMIT Majitar. The Event was open to all schools and colleges. Objective of the event was to make a robot that covers a given line path at the shortest time possible. The winning priority was given to outer colleges/schools. Seven teams from different schools and colleges participated for the event.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
On 9-03-2024 the robotic Line follower competition was conducted at SMIT Majitar. The Event was open to all schools and colleges. Objective of the event was to make a robot that covers a given line path at the shortest time possible. The winning priority was given to outer colleges/schools. Seven teams from different schools and colleges participated for the event. The competition was conducted in tinker and execute style. Event started at 9:00am with introductory seminar about line follower robots, the event ended at 3:00pm, with snacks and lunch provided to teams by SMIT. First position was acquired by team Line Ace from SMIT taking prize money of Rs. 15,000/-, second position to team Techie teens form Rangpo Mining Govt. School taking prize money of Rs. 10,000/- and third position to team ATTC from ATTC, Bardang taking Rs. 5,000/-. All participants were given certificates. The event was organized by IIC-Ecell Department of SMIT supported by EEE Department.
