Dr. Shankar Duraikannan, a Chartered Engineer with a distinguished career spanning 23 years, stands as an expert in engineering research and education product development. His expertise has been honed across diverse global landscapes, including India, Malaysia, Libya, and Rwanda. Dr. Shankar Duraikannan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Communications and Network Engineering from the University Putra Malaysia, a Master of Technology in Laser and Electro-Optical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras. Throughout his academic journey, he has demonstrated an unwavering pursuit of knowledge and innovation, focusing on cutting-edge domains such as Optical Networks, Satellite Communication, Signal Processing, Analog IC Design, mm-Wave Radio over Fibers, and the burgeoning field of 5G/6G Networks

Dr. Shankar Duraikannan's academic contributions are profound, evident through his authorship of over 30 publications and the meticulous design of more than 20 engineering courses, tailored for both online and hybrid learning environments. His commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers is further underscored by his establishment of state-of-the-art laboratories in optical communication engineering, microwave/RF engineering and 5G technology, providing learners with hands-on experiential learning opportunities.

In addition to his scholarly endeavors, Dr. Shankar Duraikannan has played a pivotal role in fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange by organizing a series of prestigious international conferences focused on sustainable development in engineering and technology.
