BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The resource person of the event, Mr. Sovan Nath is presently working at National Digital Library of

India as an Outreach Manager (North-East) since November, 2023. He is actively involved in:

planning and conducting NDLI Club Outreach and Promotional Activities (for Higher Educational Institutions and Schools) in coordination with NDLI, IIT Kharagpur and team.

co-ordinating "Online Events" through the NDLI Club portal by remote desk support with different institutions. Over the years, our resource person has been working with different institutes for collaboration with NDLI for content sharing, expertise and event (online/offline) conduction via the NDLI Club portal.

closely working with institute's authorities and faculties through webinars related to Awareness Events on NDLI & NDLI Club and develop interest for NDLI Club formation and assisted in registering institutional NDLI Club and in further activities.

NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 39 Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

NDLI Club is doing a hand-holding to institutes to fulfil the NEP2020 mandate.
