BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering conducted a Hands-on Workshop on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) at CCCT, Chisopani on 5th April, 2024. The workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of UAV technology, its applications, and basic flying skills. The workshop included technical sessions by Dr. Dipanjan Bhattacharjee, regulations, safety, flight principles, and flight planning sessions. A significant portion of the workshop was dedicated to hands-on activities, where participants were provided with UAV kits and guided through the assembly process. They learned about each component, its function, troubleshooting, and safety protocols. Participants also engaged in flight training sessions, learning basic flight controls using simulators and practicing flying small UAV models under expert supervision. The workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience, allowing participants to gain a solid understanding of UAV technology, regulations, safety guidelines, flight principles, and basic flying skills.
