BRIEF DESCRIPTION

 On April 09, 2024, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) Conducted a Workshop on "AI & Robotics" at Dr Graham's Homes School Kalimpong, with the participation of 76 students and faculty members of the school. The day's events unfolded as follows:

On 09 April Morning we started our journey to Kalimpong from SMIT at Around 8:00 Am and reached around 9:40 AM. We headed towards the St Augustin School where we were supposed to conduct a workshop we were welcomed by the workshop coordinator of the School and started arranging the necessary things for the workshop, after arranging we started our workshop from the introductory part where Dr Dipanjan Bhattacharjee got engaged for an hour to give the brief discussion about AI & Robotics. After the finish of theory part, we headed for the hands-on (Practical) which lasts for approx. 2 and half hour where the students were supposed to arrange and assemble the kits and followed by programming parts and finally implementing the code to the assembled robot and testing. In this workshop total of 76 students and the teachers of the school took part the students were of XI and XII around 2:30 pm we completed the work shop followed by carrier counseling and feedback session.  The students enjoyed the workshop. There after we started our journey back to SMIT around at around 5:00 PM.
