DEVOPIA is a new series of Hackathons which has been started by Innovision Council 2024. It marked the first edition of this new flagship event of Innovision. The event was conducted in collaboration with Coding Ninjas. The day started off with a webinar from Coding Ninjas which covered a series of topics, primarily focussing on importance of DSA, placement requirements and project building. This took place in the Seminar Hall.

DESCRIPTION:
DEVOPIA is a new series of Hackathons which has been started by Innovision Council 2024. It marked the first edition of this new flagship event of Innovision. The event was conducted in collaboration with Coding Ninjas. The day started off with a webinar from Coding Ninjas which covered a series of topics, primarily focussing on importance of DSA, placement requirements and project building. This took place in the Seminar Hall. Once we were done with the webinar, the students had their high tea and assembled in the C-Quad, Academic Block for the finalization of their projects and presentation. Students spent the day finalizing and fine tuning their projects, brushing up on their basics, and creating presentations for their pitch. Finally in the evening, we finished the presentations where the students demonstrated their projects and pitched their approaches. The panel of faculty members consisting of Mr Sital Sharma, Dr. Palash Ghoshal, Dr. Basab Nath, Dr. Nitai Paitya and Mr. Nandan Bannerjee evaluated these presentations and projects. The results were calculated and results were announced. Team Trojans comprising: Souptik Taran, Om Gupta, Girish Sharma, Mayur K T emerged as the Winner of Devopia Edition I. The Runners Up for the event was Team Tesseract, comprising : Sumit Singh Rajput, Tarun Dev, Saumitra Verma and Abhishek Kumar. The event was a success. A platform for the first year and second year students to expand their knowledge, test their skills and broaden their perspective about project development and understanding.
