BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Department of CSE and IDS inaugurated the Blockchain Centre of Excellence at SMIT. The event also saw the inauguration of a Five (05) Day Faculty Development Program under the aegis of The Centre of Faculty and Staff Development, SMIT.
The inauguration was done by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Sikkim Manipal University, AVM Dr. D. C. Agarwal, VSM in the presence of delegates and dignitaries from Government of India agencies and the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. N. S. Siddaiah, Addl. Director & OIC, STPI Gangtok and Mr. Ujjwal Shendray, VP, Operations, Cipla were present for the event. Mr. Aravind Voruganti, Global VP, Blockchain Operations, IDS Inc. delivered the Keynote Address for the event.
The FDP program started in the evening, during which Mr. Aravind Voruganti delivered his introductory note for the participants.
