Department conducted a Hands-On Workshop titled "Build Your Own Robot" in various schools as mentioned below:
1. TRB Senior Secondary School, Sivsagar, Assam - 31st October.
2. South Point School, Barsapara, Guwahati, Assam - 2nd November.
3. SAI RNS Academy, Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam - 3rd November.
The workshop covered topics such as robotics history, building a robot, programming skills, sensors and automation, teamwork, and real-world applications. Dr. Dipajan Bhattacharjee and Dr. Hemanta Saikia represented the department and provided hands-on experience to the students of Class-11 & 12. The workshop aimed to teach students about robotics and its applications in various industries.
