On the 1st of February 2024, our delegation, comprising Joanisa Hasan (President), Aryan Barnwal (Head of Marketing), and Sneha Barman (Head of Exchange), started the journey from SMIT and reached MAHE, Manipal on the 2nd of February 2024.
EVENT REPORT
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
On the 1st of February 2024, our delegation, comprising Joanisa Hasan (President), Aryan Barnwal (Head of Marketing), and Sneha Barman (Head of Exchange), started the journey from SMIT and reached MAHE, Manipal on the 2nd of February 2024.
The following day was dedicated to the meticulous preparation of our annual review presentation for the National Conference. On the 3rd of February 2024, the inaugural day of the conference, we registered at the reception desk and graciously received IAESTE swag from IAESTE India. This was followed by a breakfast session before we were ushered into the conference hall. KK Sir, the Director of ICC, addressed the attendees, marking the commencement of portfolio-specific training sessions.
Post training, we were treated to a luncheon, succeeded by an engaging interaction session with other LCs and the SID session designated solely for LCs. An invitation to the conference dinner ensued, providing a platform for discussions on topics related to the SID session and collaborative events with fellow LCs.
On the 4th of February 2024, our day commenced with a breakfast, followed by focused training sessions in Administration, Finance, and IT. A significant highlight was our IAESTE CI SMU Annual Review presentation, which was a success. After lunch, the President and Head of Exchange engaged in a productive offer exchange with IAESTE MUJ, where we exchanged 1 offer with them as we were not given any more slots. We got a total of 5 offers which have been circulated to all the members. This was followed by a one-to-one meeting between the President and the NC, addressing certain issues pertinent to IAESTE CI SMU, concluding successfully. The day concluded with snacks and dinner, fostering interactions with LCs from Karunya, JECRC, MUJ, and Manipal, setting the stage for potential collaborative events. The National Conference reached its zenith on the 4th of February, with Vedika Dubey, HR of IAESTE India, and Keerti, National Secretary, IAESTE India, formally concluding the event.
On the 5th of February 2024, we commenced our journey back, and arrived at SMIT on 6th February 2024.
