Overview
The task of the Department of Health Policy is to develop different policy options for the Public health problems identified. It builds on the work of the other departments and external information and advice to research which intervention would make the best sense in which setting.
The Centre for Health Systems alloted to this department analyzes in what structure interventions can be best delivered in India. Additionally, it will do explorative research in Health Systems Reforms, partly in a setting of an Institute of advanced studies. The Centre for Regulatory Science alloted to this department is taking up the task to do research in regulatory science and to offer training on this topic. The Department coordinates the Master of Public Health (MPH) Programme.
