Event: Special Lecture session for student and faculty members on commodities derivatives market

The special lecture on Commodities Derivatives Market held on 22.03.2024 through virtual mode at Sikkim Manipal University (SMU). It was a highly enriching and insightful event organized by Faculty Of Humanities, Social Sciences & Liberal Arts (FHSSLA), SMU in collaboration with The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX).

The objective of the lecture session was to address the issues on the following themes:

1. Introduction to commodities derivatives market,
2. Need and Benefit of Futures Trading and its relevance in today’s fast-changing world
3. Price Risk Management and Delivery Solutions
4. Do’s & Don’t of the commodities derivatives market

The event featured the esteemed speakers, Mr Sanjib Gain from the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX). They brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the lecture, making it a valuable opportunity for the attendees to learn.
