On Friday, 8th of April 2022 SMCPT celebrated College Day & Awards Function, held at level 6, Auditorium, SMU.
On this special day, respected Vice-Chancellor, Lt. General Dr. Rajesh S Grewal, and Dr. Karma Sonam Sherpa, Registrar of SMU were our Chief Guests and Dr. Muralidhar V Pai, Dean SMIMS precided as the Guest of Honour.
The program was inaugurated with the lamp lighting ceremony. The event was made auspicious by the presence of the HOD's of various departments, the faculties, and students of SMCPT. Various beautiful and memorable cultural programs were performed by all batches of students of SMCPT.
The Awards Function
The toppers of all batches and distinction holders were presented with a certificate of merit and medals. There were 65 students who received medals in various subjects or who were toppers of their batches. Few Notable Mentions:
- Miss Pramisha Thapa, received the Academic Excellence Award & the Stellar Student Award
- Miss Niyar S. Pathak, received the Excellent Effort Award
- Mr. Taliwapang Jamir, received the Skillful Creativity Award
