CLEANLINESS DRIVE

Cleanliness Drive: On 8th of September, 2019, the NSS Volunteers of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences carried out a cleanliness drive in the campus. The volunteers were also oriented on the issues like Swachhata, Water Conservation and role of youths in the present day social scenario.

ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION:

  • An essay writing competition was conducted on 11th September, 2019 for the students of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences on the theme Role of Youth in Water Conservation to create awareness regarding the need of water conservation.
  • Similarly, NSS wing of the Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing organised an essay writing competition for the students on the theme Youth and Water.
  • Similarly, NSS wing of the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology organised an essay writing competition for the students on the theme Role of Youth in Water Conservation. Events like slogan writing competition and Photo Contest on the theme Water conservation were also organised in SMIT by the NSS WING.
