Mass Health Awareness on "Vector-borne diseases" at Tumlabong

On 29th April 2022, 2nd year B.Sc. Nursing students of Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing (batch 2020-24) organized a Mass Health Awareness Program on the topic "Vector-borne diseases" at the premises of Govt. Junior High School, Tumlabong. The programme started at 10:30 am with the welcome speech. With the help of skit, nursing students have portrayed the common causes and symptoms of Vector-borne diseases mainly Dengue, Malaria, and Scrub typhus, followed by health education focusing on preventive measures for the diseases. At the end, the students have kept a small quiz in which all the participants enthusiastically answered the questions which made the awareness program a successful event.
