REPORT ON World Environment Day

Organised by: 2nd semester B.Sc. Nursing Students

Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing, Department of Nursing Foundations organised a health awareness programme on World Environment Day by 2nd semester B.Sc Nursing students at MG Marg, Gangtok.

This programme was guided by Prof Champa Sharma Officiating Principal, Prof. Thoibi Devi (HOD, Nursing Foundations, SMCON).

The nursing students had performed a street play focussing on the theme "Only One Earth" raising awareness among the public about the environmental changes on a global scale. The street play imparted knowledge on environmental protection and conservation and also shined a spotlight on climate change, increasing land, air and noise pollution along with the global warming, deforestation and it's effect on health.
