CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION, 2022

  • On Children's Day 2022, the students of 1st year and 2nd year MSc. Nursing from the Department of Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and the students of 3rd year BSc. Nursing along with the faculties from Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing conducted a celebratory program at Special School for disabilities, Upper Syari, Gangtok which was organized by the Department of Child Health Nursing. The school had children with Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Autism, and other disabilities. The program was conducted on 14th November 2022 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
  • The program began with the cutting of a cake, followed by a painting competition among the children of the school. After the competition, a health check-up was conducted for the children, during which their BMI was calculated. The health check-up was followed by recreational activities and the program ended with a prize distribution ceremony where 8 children were felicitated with gifts for their achievements in the painting competition.
