District Level Nehru Yuva Utsav 2023

On 10th march,2023 the students of Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing had participated in the district Level Nehru Yuva Utsav organised by NEHRU YUVA KENDRA, GANGTOK, EAST SIKIKIM held at Narbahadur Bhandari Degree college, Tadong

Students of SMCON participated in various events like poetry contest, photography, painting competition, group dance and declamation contest and won prizes in all the events and was able to bring victory and pride to the college.

Certificates along with cash prizes were awarded to the following winners

Ms. Bidisha Dutta - 1st prize in painting competition (cash prize - Rs 1,000)

Ms. Kiden Ongmu Lachungpa- 2nd prize in declamation (cash prize-Rs 2,000)

Ms. Leeryam Lepcha - 2nd prize in poetry (cash prize- Rs 750)

Ms. Upama Dewan- 2nd prize in photography (cash prize- Rs. 750)

The Griffin (1st year) - 2nd prize in group dance (cash prize- Rs 2,500)

The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by the district youth officer, Mr. Saurav Barman, Nehru Yuva Kendra Gangtok, east Sikkim.
