Nutrition project on "Iron Rich Diet" and preventive measures for Anaemia

On 7th February 2019 the 2nd year B.Sc. Nursing students conducted Nutrition project on "Iron Rich Diet" and preventive measures for Anaemia at Lumsey, Tadong ward, East Sikkim. The topic was selected after conducting a survey and assessment of nutritional status of the community people mainly representing children, adolescent girls and mothers. Students conduced an awareness programme through health education on Anaemia and its preventive measures including demonstration of preparation of Iron rich diet. Around 35 community people attended the programme.
