NUTRITION PROJECT ON "COMPLEMENTARY FOOD"

On 27th March 2019 the 2nd year B.Sc. Nursing students conducted Nutrition project on "Complementary food" at Lumsey, East Sikkim. Students conducted a household survey and found that most of the women including lactating mothers were unaware about the importance of complementary foods to be introduced to the children. The students cooked and demonstrated various complementary foods which was followed by health education. The programme ended with feedback from community people and vote of thanks by the students.
