Dr. (Major) Anil Ayekpam is a dedicated Surgical Oncologist with extensive experience in treating various types of cancers. He is currently serving as Consultant - Surgical Oncology at Central Referral Hospital (CRH), Sikkim Manipal University.

He completed his MBBS in 2008 from the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Manipur University, followed by MS in General Surgery from the same institution. He further specialised by obtaining a DrNB in Surgical Oncology from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi in 2020.

Dr. Ayekpam’s expertise includes advanced laparoscopic cancer surgeries, minimally invasive oncological procedures, HIPEC, and PIPAC therapies. His training and fellowships have strengthened his skills in modern cancer treatment techniques.

He began his career serving in the Army Medical Corps and later worked as Assistant Professor in Surgical Oncology before joining CRH. He has actively contributed to oncology research and has presented papers at national conferences.

Known for his surgical precision, compassionate care, and patient-first approach, Dr. Ayekpam continues to provide comprehensive cancer care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
