Dr. Arundhati bag is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Biotechnology, Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok, Sikkim.
Dr. Bag has more than 15 years teaching experience in Medical Biotechnology. She did PhD from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and postdoctoral research as DBT Post-Doctoral Fellow from Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Jadavpur, Kolkata.
Her area of research interest includes molecular markers for disease risk including cancer, diabetic nephropathy, and markers for drug toxicity. Dr. Bag has several research publications in international and national journals, and she has also authored books in her area of expertise.
