REPORT ON World Environment Day

Organised by: 2nd semester B.Sc. Nursing Students

Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing, Department of Nursing Foundations organised a health awareness programme on World Environment Day by 2^nd semester B.Sc Nursing students at MG Marg, Gangtok.

This programme was guided by Prof Champa Sharma Officiating Principal, Prof. Thoibi Devi (HOD, Nursing Foundations, SMCON).

The nursing students had performed a street play focussing on the theme “Only One Earth” raising awareness among the public about the environmental changes on a global scale. The street play imparted knowledge on environmental protection and conservation and also shined a spotlight on climate change, increasing land, air and noise pollution along with the global warming, deforestation and it’s effect on health.
