BRIEF DESCRIPTION/REPORT WITH GEO-TAGGED PHOTOGRAPH:

National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is observed on October 31 every year. The day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who served as the first Home Minister of India after Independence.

Patel is also known as the 'The Iron Man of India' for his efforts for the unification of over 550 princely states. This year marks the 147th anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The objective of the day is to uplift the nation's unity and spread awareness about the contribution of Vallabhbhai Patel. The day provides an opportunity to reaffirm the strength of the nation, upholding the unity, integrity and security of the country.

On the occasion of "Unity Day", the Model United Nations (MUN) Club had organized a mock parliament in order to celebrate the life & contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The mock parliament commenced on 28th and went on till 30th Oct 2022. Everyday a new issue was addressed upon by the various representative candidates. This experience gave students the exposure to raise their voice & uplift their respective community from all the social taboos of our country.

Winners will be felicitated by Director sir in Nov along with certificate and attractive prizes and a feature in the MUN official social media pages.
