NAD REGISTRATION WITHOUT AADHAR
NSDL-National Academic Depository (NAD) is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India (MHRD), launched by the Hon. President – Pranab Mukherjee on 9th July 2017.
NAD will develop an online portfolio of all education certificates across Academic Institutes (Universities / Institutes / Boards) which can be submitted easily for employment, higher education, and loan and is easily trusted and verified.NAD integrates directly with Boards / Universities which issue Certificates and henceensures authenticity of certificate records.
In order to start using the NAD system, following are the important steps:
All students to register on NAD so that students can access their Digital Certificates: Students need to register on NAD and generate their unique NAD ID. Following are the easy methods of student registration:
Without Aadhaar Registration : This requires student to declare all details on NAD portal. Acknowledgement Number is generated. Academic Institution can review and approve these details. After the Academic Institution approves the registration, NAD ID is issued. The process of Approval of student registration is attached. In case the functional / operational users are not created in NAD system, please do the same. The process for creation of functional/operational users is also enclosed for your reference.
You may note that the passport sized photo and signature needs to upload in JPG / JPEG / TIFF format with size ranging between 4KB - 15 KB (Including both). Further name/nomenclature of the file containing photo and signature should be preferably of not more than 20 characters. No special characters allowed in names of file of photo and signature to be uploaded by student during registration.
